About Brandon Welch
Brandon found his passion for personal finance through the unlikeliest of places - auto racing. He co-owns and drives the 300mph Beal Racing Top Fuel Dragster, a professional drag racing team competing on the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series. His relentless focus on optimizing his personal financial position has enabled Brandon to confidently invest in his racing team in order to reach the highest competitive level.
This passion, focus, and experience have carried over into his career as a financial planner. Brandon finds great satisfaction in guiding others to reach their financial goals and live their best lives.
Brandon received his BS and MBA from San Diego State University and began his finance career in commercial real estate investment. He later transitioned to helping individuals and families on their financial journey. He now serves as a fiduciary Investment Advisor Representative with Newport Wealth Advisors.
Brandon is a lifelong resident of San Diego, where he lives with his wife and three children, who are his greatest inspiration. In his free time, Brandon pursues his love of drag racing, serving on the PTA, and enjoying all the fantastic experiences San Diego has to offer with his family.
